To provide a world class training center that will incorporate health, fitness & beauty to help you reach your needs and goals mentally, physically and spiritually!

Size, shape or body type doesn't matter.  We are not perfect and that is what makes us perfect all on our own.  We need to achieve balance in our lives.  We need to have clarity so we can be successful!  We can be all that we want with some dedication, focus and determination. We need to work from the inside out!  We can help!

Our Business

The Tranter Institute was born in 2002 with hopes of educating, teaching and inspiring people to want to be active, healthy and happy in thier life.  It is our firm belief and experience that physical fitness will play a very important role in our lives, throughout our lives. 

Mona Tranter and her team of Angels have been a part of the dance, health and fitness world for the past 15 years working with moms, dads, kids, seniors, athletes, the sick and disabled, companies, professionals, schools and organizations throughout Canada and the United States.  Due to the demand of the health industry, the Tranter Institute has become one of the leading educators and inspirations for new workout regimes and healing techniques.  It has grown over the past seven years to allow a huge demand for their new product of workout videos, health and fitness plans, nutritional plans and retreats for wellness and health!

The business is unique because of its team and main motivator  Mona Tranter, who prides herself on giving all she can give to her clientel, her team and ultimately herself.

Who she has trained

Mona has worked with Olympic tri-athletes, football players, olympic skaters, gymnasts and professional dancers and many celebrities throughout her career.  Dan Ackroyd, Gwen Stefani, Shakira, Janet Jackson, Whoopi Glodberg, Tragically Hip, Mario, Antonio Banderas just to name a few! 

She is a professional, highly motivated and is exceptional at getting results due to her vast knowledge in the body mechanics, muscle function and dysfunction, joint stability and the overall fluidity of movement.

 

As a professional dancer she is able to really understand what her clients needs are and how they can be healed, encouraged and trained.

 

  

 

 

 


Who We Are


Mona Tranter

Bright, dynamic, charismatic and fun are just a few of the attributes that describe Mona. Since starting dance training at the age of three, nothing has stopped Mona from succeeding in her chosen field. She is a full member (Ballet-Chechetti) with the Canadian Dance Teachers Association, full member (jazz and tap) Dance Educators of America has trained with the National Ballet of Canada," Steps" on Broadway in New York City, Broadway Dance Center , she is a former graduate, student and performer of Canada's Randolph Dance Academy for the Performing Arts Private training institution as well she is one of Canada’s only certified Hayward Methodology for Pilates body conditioning. Mona is the head of the Dance Department for St. Lawrence College Music Theatre performance program and is their head choreographer for their music theatre touring season.



As a professional health and fitness guru, Mona offers numerous workshops, seminars and retreats in both Canada and the United States, and works with professionals from around the world.  She is excited to bring her knowledge and expertise into your living room through her series of videos which came out August 2007!
