The Tranter Institute is home to Barrie's only Professional dance & Production School.  This professional environment will allow student dancers and performers to thrive and grow in their dance culture, training and education. 

Programs are offered for ages 6 to adult in the disciplines of ballet, jazz, contemporary, modern, tap, ariel silk,   hip hop, Latin, ballroom, swing and music theatre specialty

Our Production program will allow students to develop through classes in acting, voice, guitar or piano lessons, film/TV and on camera classes.

Guest teachers are present monthly to help the student adapt to new teaching, choreography and creativity.

Classes run all year with registration being held May, August, September and January from 9am-5pm daily.
